Supervision
Clinical supervision for OTs and allied health professionals who work with children.
I have been a paediatric occupational therapist for nearly nine years. I see children aged 2 to 13, private and NDIS, and I hold a Graduate Certificate in the Diagnosis and Assessment of Fetal Alcohol Spectrum Disorders.
Supervision with me is a regular, structured place to bring your caseload: the child you are stuck on, the goal you are not sure about, the report that needs a second pair of eyes, and the parts of the job that are hard to talk about anywhere else.
I work in a neuro-affirming way, and that shapes how I supervise. We look at what a child can already do, whether a goal makes their own life better, and what in the environment can change before the child has to.
DIR Floortime, Theraplay, Circle of Security Parenting, the Interoception Curriculum, the SOS Approach to Feeding, trauma-informed practice and polyvagal theory.
Training
I run training sessions for anyone who works with children and wants to understand them better.
A lot of my clinical work is already this: helping the adults around a child read their cues, co-regulate, and adjust the environment at home or in the classroom. Training can be one to one, or for a whole team at once.
